When a homeowner from Ralston Ave. in Hamden, CT reached out to We Improve For You, their bathroom was in complete disarray. What began as a DIY demolition project turned into a stressful situation after their previous contractor abandoned the job midway. Left with a partially torn-out tub and a non-functional bathroom, the client was desperate for help. That’s when We Improve For You stepped in—bringing our trusted expertise, professionalism, and 5-star rated service to turn things around quickly and efficiently.
From Abandoned Project to Exceptional Bathroom
When we first arrived at the property, the space was in poor condition. The old bathtub had been partially removed, leaving exposed plumbing and damaged walls. The client’s goal was simple but urgent: to replace the tub with a modern, accessible walk-in shower that would make the bathroom both beautiful and safe to use again.
Our team immediately assessed the situation, developed a detailed plan, and began work within days. We prioritized speed without sacrificing quality, ensuring that the client could regain a functional bathroom as soon as possible.
Here’s what we accomplished:
- Completed full removal of the remaining tub and debris from the failed demo.
- Repaired damaged walls and reinforced subflooring to ensure proper shower installation.
- Installed a custom-designed walk-in shower with non-slip flooring and sleek glass doors.
- Upgraded plumbing fixtures to high-efficiency options for better performance and durability.
- Added modern wall surrounds and stylish finishes to elevate the look of the space.
Within just a few days, the client’s vision came to life—a clean, contemporary walk-in shower that provided comfort, safety, and elegance. Most importantly, they could finally enjoy a space that felt brand new again.
