Expert Shower to Tub Conversions in Branford & Guilford, CT

Bring Comfort and Family Functionality Back to Your Bathroom Layout

While a standalone shower stall is great for a fast morning routine, a bathroom without a proper bathtub can feel incomplete. For many neighbors we talk to across Branford and Guilford, buying a home with only standalone showers eventually presents real everyday challenges. Perhaps you’ve recently started a family and realized that washing young children in a cramped shower is an athletic feat. Or maybe, after a biting shoreline winter day, you simply miss the therapeutic relief of sinking into a deep, hot bath.

At We Improve For You, we understand that your home needs to evolve as your lifestyle changes. Run by a local team blending Joseph Thomas Jr.’s operational focus (Quinnipiac University) with his father’s 40 years of direct contracting trade mastery, we turn the shower-to-tub conversion process into a stress-free reality. We cleanly remove your small shower footprint and install a beautiful, durable, and premium bathtub customized to your exact household needs.

The Specialized Craftsmanship a Layout Reversal Demands

Converting an existing shower stall into a full-sized bathtub requires serious plumbing and structural knowledge. A standard shower typically uses a center floor drain, whereas a bathtub relies on an end-drain assembly paired with an integrated overflow valve system. Trusting this structural swap to high-volume contractors who cut corners leads to slow drainage, leaking joints, and major subfloor wood rot.

Our factory-certified field crews execute every conversion with meticulous technical precision:

• Expert Structural Re-piping: We re-engineer the underlying plumbing infrastructure to safely relocate your drain lines, upgrade the mixing valves, and ensure optimal water pressure and rapid, reliable drainage.

• Shoring Up the Framing Base: A bathtub filled with water holds hundreds of pounds of structural weight. We inspect and reinforce your subfloor support joists so your new tub rests on an immovable, perfectly level foundation.

• Advanced Mold-Resistant Material Science: We build your oasis using high-grade, non-porous composite acrylics that carry a lifetime guarantee. Because soap scum, hard water mineral scale, and mold cannot stick to the surface, you can say goodbye to intense scrubbing and clean your bath with a quick, simple wipe down.

Explore Premium Bathtub Styles Built Around Your Space

We configure your layout reversal around your visual preferences and spatial availability without stretching construction into a multi-week mess:

• Classic Alcove Combinations: Maximize space by packing a deep, comfortable new tub into your existing shower recess, flanked by gorgeous, seamlessly sealed wall surrounds.

• Elegant Freestanding & Deep Soakers: Turn your master bathroom into a high-end visual statement with standalone tubs engineered to hold hot water temperatures significantly longer.

• Custom Shelving & Corner Niches: Keep your space orderly and beautiful by integrating low-profile storage compartments directly into your wall surrounds.

• Safe, Multi-Generational Additions: Personalize your installation with beautifully finished structural support bars, non-slip base textures, and low-step entries to protect all family members.

Redesign Your Space with Honest, Local Family Values

You don’t have to navigate high-pressure corporate sales scripts or open-ended contractor estimates. As a family-owned Connecticut business, we offer fixed, down-to-the-penny quotes locked in for a full year, with flexible financing structures starting as low as $113 per month.
